How to create a link in bio page for Instagram, LinkedIn and more
One link, everything you do · updated October 2026
Instagram lets you put just one clickable link in your profile. TikTok, X and YouTube are similar. If you have a
website, a portfolio, a shop and three social profiles, that single slot becomes a problem. A "link in bio" page solves
it: one short address that opens a small page listing everything.
What a good link in bio page contains
- Your name and a one line description. People should know who you are within two seconds.
- A photo or logo. It builds trust and makes the page feel personal.
- Three to seven links. More than that and visitors do not know where to click.
- One clear main action, such as "Book a call", "View my portfolio" or "Shop now", placed first.
Which links should you include?
- Your most important goal, whether that is a portfolio, booking page or store.
- Your best piece of content, such as a video or article people ask about often.
- Your other social profiles.
- A contact link, for example email or WhatsApp.
Update the page when something changes. A stale "Join my webinar" link from last spring looks careless.
How to set one up for free
- Open I Am On, the EasyLife link in bio tool.
- Browse the templates and preview one you like. No sign up is needed to look around.
- Create your free account and choose your address, for example iamon.easylife.solutions/yourname.
- Add your name, photo and links, then save.
- Copy your address and paste it into the website field of each social profile.
Tips to get more clicks
- Mention it in your posts: "Link in bio" works, especially with a reason such as "full guide in my bio link".
- Use short, action based button labels like "Read the guide" instead of "Click here".
- Check it on your phone. Most visitors arrive from a mobile app.
- Review which links get used and move the best one to the top.
Who needs one?
Creators, freelancers, students, small shop owners, musicians and job seekers all benefit. If you are job hunting, put
your online portfolio and LinkedIn at the top.
