because they look the same on every device and can't be accidentally changed. Knowing when to use each — and how to
switch — saves a lot of headaches.
When to convert Word → PDF
- You're sending a resume, invoice, letter or report and want it to look identical for the recipient.
- You're submitting a document where PDF is required.
- You want to stop others from easily editing your formatting.
When to convert PDF → Word
- You received a PDF and need to edit or reuse the text.
- You lost the original Word file and only have the PDF.
- You want to copy content out without retyping it.
How to convert Word → PDF
